Enthusiastic and experienced React Software Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced React Software Engineer, working remotely, to be part of one of our UK Scrum Teams. The successful applicant will help design, develop, test, deliver and maintain solutions for our core fleet tracking business and other UK business functions.
Responsibilities
• Develop new user-facing features using React.js
• Translate UX prototypes into deliverable features
• Optimize performance of front end components with a focus on scale
• Focus on reusability when developing components to allow for consistency and re-use
• Develop, enhance and maintain Teletrac Navman software solutions.
• Assume technical responsibility for all stages of the software development process to ensure compliance with application development standards and achievement of documented requirements.
• Maintain, develop and enhance business support and process tools/projects as required
• Assist with analyzing requirements for new products, including liaising directly with end users and product management
• Ensure that you maintain proficiency in a wide range of technology products/platforms
• Full participation in and adherence to the Agile Scrum process.
• Use of Vontier Business Systems (FBS) processes for Lean Software Development, Problem Solving Process, Daily Management, Kaizens
• Collaborate and communicate effectively within the team and to business stakeholders
• Promote and drive a passionate customer driven culture by ensuring a strong focus on delivery, execution and the customer
• Commit to product quality, particularly by means of code reviews, implementation of unit tests and QA test execution where required.

Skills
• Proven industry experience of React.js and its core principles
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Experience with popular React.js workflows, ideally Redux
• Experience developing against RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JWT, OAuth 2.0, etc
• Familiarity with Jenkins or similar build/CICD pipelines
• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
